Enter a domain and it reads the same records a receiving mail server reads — MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, MTA-STS, DNSSEC — checks the major public blocklists, scores what it finds, and hands back the exact records to publish with registrar-specific steps. No mail is sent to the domain, nothing is installed, and a basic scan needs no account.
It grew out of the ticket queue. Fixing authentication for one client meant explaining the same eight things every time, so the explanation became a tool. Agencies, consultants, MSPs and internal IT teams now use it in reverse too: scan a prospect or a newly onboarded client, show them what is wide open, and win the conversation before the pitch.
Who is behind it
InboxDoctor is built and run by a small team of IT engineers who spent years cleaning up other people's mail flow — migrations that broke SPF, marketing platforms bolted on without DKIM, DMARC left in monitoring mode indefinitely. We got tired of doing the same forensics by hand, so we automated it. Support goes to the same people who wrote the scanner.
